MVP: Trevor Lakes (Lebanon)
Lakes started hot scoring points in buckets. He had 22 points at the half and in one sequence in the first quarter he hit a turn around fadeaway, then two threes consecutively and then blocked a shot at the other end. He was on fire in the first quarter and one of the best offensive games I’ve seen in one half this year.
Best offensive performance: Colin Kenney (Marquette Catholic)
Kenney was great in the game scoring 20 points and doing it in a ton of different ways. He went to the rim, made jumpers, and made four three-pointers. He was solid distributing the ball in the game and added in four assists as well. Kenney was solid for being just a sophomore and will be the leader of this team for years to come.
Best defensive performance: Jon Andershock (Marquette Catholic)
Andershock was really good on defense getting two steals and creating multiple deflections. He was strong on defense and really pestered the guards of Lebanon the whole game with his length.
Best underclassman: Carson Burtron (Lebanon)
Burtron is the starting point guard for Lebanon and he is really good at it. Despite being just a freshman he runs the point well and adds a little bit of offense. Burtron is still growing into his role as the point guard for a team with a lot of history but his length and athleticism makes him an interesting guy.
Best rebounder: Jaylen Washington (Lebanon)
Washington is a great rebounder for his size. Standing at 5’10, Washington was solid on the boards tearing down eight rebounds. He gets them all by hustling and crashing hard. He’s built like an all-state running back, which he is, and plays like one too.
