Armaan Franklin – 6’3/G/2019 – Fishers – One of the best guys we saw all day long. Franklin was the best rebounder of the day and he was one of the most athletic as well. Despite being undersized at the wing spot he can jump out of the gym. Franklin missed a few easy shots but also made a few tough baskets. He looked great and fluid while being one of the most effective guys on the floor. Picked up an IUPUI offer following the game and there are many more to come for the LM+ guy.
Brandon Vernon – 6’5/SF/2019 – Indianapolis Pike – Vernon came off the bench and looked great. He was cutting and slashing through the lane and then was able to step out and knock down some threes. He hit three in a row at one point and looked unstoppable while he was hitting. He played well on defense too with a few blocks on one possession. Looks like he could be a very nice wing and if he gains some muscle and cuts weight he could at the very least be a solid D2 player.
Anthony Leal – 6’2/SG/2020 – Bloomington South – Leal came off the bench and played off the ball. He’s got a huge reach but does really get inside and mix it up at all. He’s grown a bit to maybe 6’3 and he roams around the perimeter. He’s got a nice looking shot but kind of pushes the ball still with his arms. He will fill out in time and in a few years he’ll be an even better two guard.
Jake Wadding – 6’3/SF/2020 – Chesterton – Wadding had a great game. He was impressive on the drive and finished really well. He has a great spin move and it’s tight and quick which he used quite a bit. Had the most points in the game and took it over for Chesterton. He’s a guy that loves to drive it and can dish it off or finish. Does not take bad shots. He’s a kid to put on your radar in the 2020 class. Solid talent.
Terry Hicks – 6’4/SF/2019 – Fishers – Hicks was the first guy off the bench and played really well. He filled up the stat sheet and looked like a guy that wanted to find consistent playing time. He missed a few easy baskets but that was okay because he was looking for his shot. I’d like to see more of Hicks when he tries to create more for himself but needs to work on his handles just a little.
