Darius Craig: Darius Craig is a senior guard with the ability to knock it down from deep and distribute effectively. Craig finished this morning’s opening game with 11 points (1-3 2FG and 3-8 3FG), 1 defensive rebound, 3 assists, and 3 steals with most of his scoring coming in the third quarter.
Ta’Von Johnson: Ta’Von Johnson used his athleticism effectively this morning which included his two-handed put back dunk over two Archer defenders in the second half. Johnson finished with 13 points (6-10 2FG and 1-3 FT), game high 10 rebounds (6 defensive and 4 offensive), game high 5 steals, and 2 blocks.
Richard Robertson: Richard Robertson was Mr. Everything in this morning’s action. Robertson finished with a game high 35 points (7-12 2FG, 1-6 3FG, and 14-19 FT), 6 defensive rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and a block. He was the best player on the floor this morning.

Larson Ashford: Larson Ashford was a little slow out of the gate but ended up being a good player for Concordia in the second half. Ashford finished with 10 points (5-7 2FG – all second half), 6 rebounds (4 defensive and 2 offensive), 3 steals, and 2 assists. Used his length and athleticism well in second half.
FW Carroll
Anthony Martin: Anthony Martin was solid for Carroll today, doing a little bit of everything for the Chargers. Martin finished the game with 14 points (6-10 2FG and 2-2 FT), 4 rebounds (2 defensive and 2 offensive), 5 assists, and 1 blocked shot. The senior did all he could to help his team in first round action.
FW Bishop Luers
Ray Walker Jr.: Ray Walker was fantastic on the defensive end of the floor tonight for the Knights and his energy and leadership are what brought them back. Walker Jr. finished with 17 points (6-11 2FG, 0-2 3FG, and 5-6 FT), 4 rebounds (3 defensive and 1 offensive), 3 assists, and a game high 7 steals.
JJ Foster Jr.: JJ got off to a slow start in the first half as he wasn’t getting many open looks and wasn’t getting the rolls he typically does. Foster, however, finished with 12 points (3-7 2FG, 3-7 3FG, and 0-2 FT), 4 defensive rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Most of his damage was done in the second half.
Anton Berry: Anton faced foul trouble early on that left him sidelines for the majority of the first half. He came out very aggressive in the second half and finished with 17 points (5-7 2FG and 7-8 FT), 11 rebounds (8 defensive and 3 offensive), 2 assists, and 2 steals. He helped Luers seal the deal from the line.

Jalen Royal: Jalen Royal came off the bench for the Bruins but gave them great minutes. Royal finished the game with 15 points (5-7 3FG), 6 rebounds (4 defensive and 2 offensive), 3 assists, and 3 steals. Royal started the second half and played the majority of it finishing fourth on the team in minutes played.

Demarque Perkins: Perkins was all over the defensive end of the floor for the Archers this morning and gave his share on the offensive end of the floor. He finished with 14 points (5-7 2FG and 4-6 FT), 8 rebounds (6 defensive and 2 offensive), 3 steals, and 2 assists.
Cortney Shorter: Shorter was great for the Archers this morning after his slow start in the first quarter. Cortney finished with 21 points (6-8 2FG, 3-6 3FG, and 0-1 FT), 6 rebounds (5 defensive and 1 offensive) and 6 assists. South Side will need this kind of production of the 6’4” junior all season.
Trejean Didier: Didier did what Didier does this morning. Trejean is the definition of an offensive threat and is well known for his ability to stretch the floor with the deep ball. Didier finished with 29 points (2-4 2FG, 7-10 3FG, and 2-4 FT), 7 rebounds (6 defensive and 1 offensive), game high 7 assists, and 3 steals.

Darien Causey: Causey came out looking for his shot early and often. He shot the ball well from the floor overall finishing with a game high 22 points (5-6 2FG and 4-11 3FG), 4 rebounds (3 defensive and 1 offensive), game high 6 assists, and 2 steals. Great game from Causey overall.
Shaquan Sanders: Sanders was a quiet player for the Generals in their victory but finished the game with 13 points (4-7 2FG, 1-1 3FG, and 2-2 FT) and 8 rebounds (6 defensive and 2 offensive). Sanders was an energy guy in the victory and turned in a good effort at the end of the day.

FW Carroll
Jared Hofer: Jared was a force on the inside for the first three quarters. He had already recorded a double-double at that point but didn’t see much floor time in the fourth. Jared finished with 10 points (5-9 2FG), 11 rebounds (8 defensive and 3 offensive), 2 assists, and 1 blocked shot. Hofer was great inside of 15 feet.
Arius Jones: Jones did all of the little thing for his team in hopes that they could pull out the win over the Knights. Jones finished with 3 points (1-2 2FG and 1-1 FT), 5 defensive rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 1 blocked shot. Although he didn’t have big numbers, he handled the pressure well for Carroll tonight.
Riley Perlich: Riley Perlich is one of those guys that always gives you what you expect. He doesn’t play outside of his skill set. Perlich finished with 13 points (1-2 2FG, 3-4 3FG, and 2-2 FT), 4 defensive rebounds, and 2 steals. Perlich made two big threes in the fourth quarter to keep the game close.

Amari Hall: Amari Hall is a long sophomore in the starting lineup for the Archers but couldn’t manage to stay out of foul trouble in this morning’s contest. Hall finished with 8 points (3-6 2FG and 2-2 FT), 4 defensive rebounds, game high 3 blocks, 1 assists, and 1 steal. He bothered shots well around the rim.

Demarea Dial: Dial has been the most consistent shooter for the Generals this season but couldn’t really get it going to day. He finished with 6 points (3-5 2FG and 0-3 3FG), 5 defensive rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 1 blocked shot. Dial did other things to help the Generals to the first-round victory.
Craig Young: Craig Young was slow out of the gate but got himself involved in the second half with a pair of dunks. Young finished the game with 21 points (9-11 2FG and 2-7 FT), 10 rebounds (7 defensive and 3 offensive), 4 assists, game high 5 steals, and 1 blocked shot. Craig was dominant in the second half.
FW Concordia
Jadon Dance: Dance was impressive all game for Concordia aside from his shooting woes. Dance finished with 9 points (4-10 2FG, 0-2 3FG, and 1-6 FT), 5 rebounds (3 defensive and 2 offensive), and 4 steals. Dance had good energy and will be a good basketball player for the Cadets moving forward.
Adam Gottschalk: Another impressive sophomore for the Cadets was Adam Gottschalk who was aggressive on the offensive end the entire contest. Gottschalk finished with 17 points (4-6 2FG, 3-7 3FG, and 0-2 FT), 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. Concordia is young and will find their way as the season continues.
Kamari Anderson-Drew: Anderson-Drew came off the bench for Concordia in their game against Wayne but still managed to produce efficiently. He finished with 11 points (3-6 3FG and 2-4 FT), 4 defensive rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist. Kamari will continue to get more time with these kinds of showings.
