<strong>Dillon Thomas</strong> was "mr. everything" for the Eagles throughout their run. The heady & tough lead guard contributed to his team's win in so many different areas.
<h2>BEST OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | DILLON THOMAS | GODWIN '17</h2>
Thomas was held without a point until the last minute of the third quarter, when he hit a 3 to tie the game. He proceeded to score 13 fourth quarter points, knocking down several clutch free throws to clinch the game.
<h2>BEST DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | DILLON THOMAS | GODWIN '17</h2>
Thomas was the leading rebounder on the team with six. He exhibited solid defensive fundamentals and consistently communicated to his teammates.
<h2>BEST UNDER-THE-RADAR PERFORMANCE | TIMOTHY FISHER | GODWIN '17</h2>
<strong>Timothy Fisher</strong> was a workhorse for Godwin throughout this tournament. The athletic 6'5 forward was a terror on the offensive glass and showed a nice touch around the basket.
<h2>BEST REBOUNDER | CARRINGTON BROX | HAYFIELD '17</h2>
<strong>Carrington Brox</strong> recorded a game-high 8 rebounds to go along with 3 steals and 12 points. The much improved senior has a relentless work rate and finished well through contact.
<h2>BEST UNDERCLASSMEN | MICHAEL JOINER | HAYFIELD '19</h2>
Keep an eye on Hawks starting point guard <strong>Michael Joiner</strong>. The long & lanky point guard boasts considerable length and massive hands.
<h2>BEST CATCH AND SHOOT GUY | LUKE JONES | HAYFIELD '19</h2>
<strong>Luke Jones</strong> is considered to be one of the best shooters on Hayfield's roster. The junior guard can quickly set his feet and get his shot off with little room to operate.
<h2>BEST PASSER | DILLON THOMAS | GODWIN '17</h2>
While his assist totals weren't gaudy, Dillon Thomas impressed with his decision making and passing accuracy. He shrewdly used ball fakes to give him room to make the correct read.
<h2>BEST INTANGIBLES | DILLON THOMAS | GODWIN '17</h2>
This was an easy one. Thomas never forced a single shot. He was extremely efficient, and constantly focused on the end result.
