MVP | ANTHONY LONGPRE | GLENELG COUNTRY ’17
Anthony Longpre was technically the “best guy off the bench”, but he literally checked into the game after the first dead ball, then proceeded to dominate. The versatile 6’10 forward is a smooth & confident ball handler with great footwork and touch.
BEST PLAY | EJ JOHNSON | SOUTH COUNTY ’17
EJ Johnson finished off a well-executed play to win the game for South County. He recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.

BEST OFFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | JORDAN GIBSON | STONEWALL JACKSON ’18
Jordan Gibson showcased his entire offensive arsenal, scoring 16 of his team’s 25 first half points. The smooth 6’5 guard is a very capable scorer from all three levels.
BEST DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE | DEON SAVAGE | ROOSEVELT ’17
Deon Savage actively protected the rim for Roosevelt. The long and lanky 6’6 forward has great timing. He recorded 5 blocked shots and 7 rebounds.
BEST UNDER-THE-RADAR PERFORMANCE | NICKY MILLER | WASHINGTON-LEE ’17
Nicky Miller was all over the place for the Generals, recording a team-high 23 points and 6 steals. He helped bring W&L back in the game with his effort & playmaking ability down the stretch. Miller dished out 3 assists.
BEST UNDERCLASSMEN | CHASE PAAR | GLENELG COUNTRY ’19
6’10 big man Chase Paar had some nice moments in his team’s win vs. Stonewall Jackson. The 6’10 lefty demonstrated a soft touch and a high motor. Paar is definitely a name worth remembering.
BEST GUY OFF THE BENCH | MARQUISE BROWN | ROOSEVELT ’18
Marquise Brown made several clutch plays down the stretch to help Roosevelt clinch the victory. The quick & crafty junior lead guard scored 10 points.
BEST PASSER | JALEN GABBIDON | GLENELG COUNTRY ’17
Jalen Gabbidon‘s shot didn’t fall on Tuesday, so he contributed in other areas. The 6’5 guard went hard to the rim where he more often than not made the right play. Gabbidon is a very unselfish player who exhibits a high IQ.

BEST INTANGIBLES | BRET CASLAVKA | CHANTILLY ’17
Bret Caslavka recorded 22 points & 7 rebounds for the Chargers. The unsigned senior has a tireless motor moves extremely well off the ball. Caslavka exhibits great footwork & boasts a quick release on his jumper. He also rebounds & makes the right passes.
BEST SHOES | NICKY MILLER | COOL GREY NIKE KOBE AD
The Nike Kobe AD’s might be the most underrated basketball shoes of 2016. Nicky Miller gets the nod for breaking them out.
