Slippery through traffic and gets to the hoop with ease. Slick passer that has a good feel for the game. Potential defensively with his length and lateral quickness.
Steward played with Meanstreets 14U this past summer.
“It went well. We started off bad. Then we got our team chemistry together so we started playing hard.”
The incoming freshman broke down his game.
“I am really versatile and play both sides of the ball. I am really long so that helps me out. Playing hard every time I step out on the court. Getting good shots up.”
What is he looking forward to as a freshman at Fenwick?
“I am looking forward to playing with new guys and playing hard. Those guys are really helping me out because I am a new guy coming into Fenwick. They are excited that I came there so they are helping me out a lot.”
The 2020 prospect told us what wisdom he has picked up from senior leaders Jacob Keller and Jamal Nixon.
“Playing hard, defense, and getting in the weight room. They tell me to get in the weight room so I have been doing that so I can play against guys that are bigger than me.”
