Profile:
Jacobs is a dynamic scoring wing that broke out in a major way as a junior and followed that up with a strong circuit for All-In/Young & Reckless. He is a wiry shooting guard with big time athleticism. Slippery through traffic getting to the hoop and can explode at the rim. One of the top shooting guard prospects in the senior class.
Odds to Win:
20/1
Why he Can Win:
Jacobs is going to be the senior leader on a team at Uplift that we expect to be among the top teams in Chicago this season. He is going to put up consistent 20 point games throughout the year. Being in the Chicago market will help him create buzz.
Obstacles to Win:
The first is he will have to share the spotlight on his own team with one of the most talented sophomores in the state who also happens to be his brother in Markese Jacobs. Second is will Uplift play in enough high profile games for him to show out?
