Dickinson pair sign to play D1 basketball
Dickinson guard Aanen Moody and center Jordan Meidinger are signing with division one schools today with Aanen headed to UND and Jordan going to NDSU.
North Dakota State University head men’s basketball coach David Richman announced the addition of three high school student-athletes on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period.
Jordan Meidinger of Dickinson (N.D.) High School, Tyree Eady of Middleton (Wis.) High School and Rocky Kreuser of Totino Grace (Minn.) High School will continue their education and play basketball at NDSU. All three are expected to join the Bison in the summer of 2017.
“We are thrilled to add three quality young men, excellent students and talented basketball players in this year’s early recruiting class with Jordan, Tyree and Rocky,” Richman said.
Meidinger, a 7-foot center from Dickinson, N.D., averaged 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks per game as a junior. He was voted to the All-Western Dakota Association team.
“Jordan has tremendous size and has the ability to run the floor extremely well for a big man,” said Richman. “Jordan’s North Dakota roots make him a great fit to wear the Green and Gold and give him a solid understanding of what Bison Pride is all about. Over time, and within our strength and conditioning program, Jordan will be able to provide us with a presence at the rim on both ends of the court.”
