“My favorite part about game days is right before we go out to warm up we listen to the most girly and ridiculous music that we can find.”
What makes your crowd unique? What is a memorable thing that they’ve done that you will always remember?
“Whenever there is a big game it feels like the whole town of Cando is at the game. The most memorable thing they’ve done was completely fill the Sports Center in Devils Lake for the Region Championship my 8th grade year.”
Who is the toughest player you can recall playing against in North Dakota basketball and why?
“The toughest player that I have played against would have to be Brad Heidlebaugh from Rugby.”
Who is your biggest rival and what about them makes the rivalry both heated and memorable?
“Our biggest rival is Four Winds because we’ve competed against them in the Region Championship so many times.”
Who is your favorite basketball player in the world and why?
“My favorite player in the whole world is LeBron James because he has the ability to take over any game he wants whenever he wants.”
All basketball players love gear. What brand of gear or type of gear are you partial to?
“My favorite brand is Nike because their gear if more comfortable than the other brands.”
What is your favorite venue to play basketball in that you’ve played in?
“My favorite venue is the Minot State Dome.”
What court that you haven’t played on would you dream of playing on?
“I’ve always dreamed of playing at the Allen Fieldhouse in Kansas.”
Explain the relationship varsity players have at your school with youth players?
“During the season many of our varsity players help coach elementary kids every Saturday morning and teach them the fundamentals of basketball.”
Best coaching advice you’ve received is what and who was it from?
“I’ve been given so much great advice from so many people I can’t pick one single thing out.”
Who is your basketball influence?
“My greatest basketball influences would have to be my brother Tanner and cousin Jake.”
