Breeding, who averaged just under three points per game as a sophomore, should see a huge uptick in usage given the departure of three key seniors from last year’s squad that made regionals.
“I like to get my shot off, find open spots,” Breeding stated when asked to describe his game. “When they’re looking for the jump shot, I like to attack and look for my teammates.”
Last Saturday during the Wakefield Fall League, Breeding’s prolific shot making ability was on display, as he scored 20 of his team’s 33 points in a win vs. West Springfield. Another thing which was evident about Breeding was his ability to make others better.
“My ability to pass is underrated,” said Breeding “I haven’t shown that fully yet, but I’m working on that.”
Breeding also states that he’s working on getting a quicker release when he has an open shot. He also plans to continue looking for his teammates. Breeding is a gym rat who also has a strong work ethic in the classroom, where he sports a very impressive 3.8 GPA. While his recruitment is in its infancy at this point, Breeding has demonstrated significant improvement over the past twelve months. We expect his recruitment to be on the uptick as a result.
What can coaches who are recruiting Breeding expect him to bring to their program?
“Just working hard, my work ethic,” he said. “I like to work out all the time. Never give up, keep trusting the process.”
