“Trevor is a great all-around player,” said North Coach John Oxton. “A great passer, runs the court well, solid defender, and attacks the basket very well.”
NHR watched Trevor play several times with WOTN over the four spring and summer months. What we saw is what Coach Oxton has been seeing on a daily basis within his program.
“I think the biggest improvement is his confidence,” Oxton explained. “He got some varsity experience as a sophomore was a part-time starter last year as a junior, and I just really feel like he knows this is his time to shine as a senior.
“Trevor has very high expectations for himself, and I know he is very excited to play a huge role on our team.”
Schermann is hearing from five different division three programs right now.
“At this time I have heard from St. Thomas, Wisconsin-River Falls, Hamline, St. Mary’s, and Augsburg.”
Trevor joins Ethan Igbanugo and of course national top 100 talent Nathan Reuvers as three of the top returning five or six guys from last year’s club.
