Hollowell has been offered by IU-South Bend and Saint Francis and he has visited Saint Francis and Taylor. You can expect some more lower level activity with Hollowell after the summer he had and the big senior season he is expecting this year.
“I felt my summer went pretty well playing for a highly skilled team. I had teammates that knew their role and I knew how to fill mine. I got to play in front of coaches from all over the country and against some of the toughest players in the country.”
Hollowell has not stopped working on his game though as this summer and fall he has continued to work on his ball handling, pull-up jumpers, as well as finishing with contact at the rim.
Coaches has expressed that they like many things about Hollowell’s game including his shooting ability, his unselfishness, his hard work, and his ability to read the floor. This year Hollowell is looking for more reason for the coaches to like him as he is ready to step up and lead his team.
“I am looking forward to competing for the sectional title and going even further in the tournament.”
Hollowell knows that he is looking for two distinct qualities in a future program, and with a big winter season, he will find both pretty easily.
“I want a good education looking toward my future after basketball and I want a good disciplined basketball team with a good environment within the campus.”
