Continue ReadingAustin’s Duoth Gach led the Packers in scoring as a sophomore and now he’s about to lead a talented team into season full of high expectations.
Duoth put up 14 points per game for a Packer team that has a lot of budding talent. Duoth is the best all around player on that team and he continues to put in work to get even better.
“I am going to the gym a lot putting up shots working out and conditioning, lifting weights,” said Duoth.
“The goals are to win the Big Nine and win state! Our team chemistry is getting better.”
We at Northstar Hoops have Duoth highly ranked because at about 6-foot-3 or 6-foot-4 he is very long and agile plus fairly skilled. The schools aren’t calling on him now but they will soon.
“Nobody (is recruiting me) right now, just a couple letters so far,” said Gach.
Duoth plays at Austin with his twin brother Both Gace who scored ten points a game last year and is an excellent shooter.
“It’s nice playing with him because you can give him the ball and you know what’s he capable of doing with it,” said Gach.
