Zach Couper (Rockford Boylan – 2017)
Couper had a nice junior season, but we expect even more as a senior as he should average 20 ppg easy while racking up wins.
Marvin Nesbitt (Butler College Prep – 2017)
Nesbitt plays for an unknown high school, but after a quality circuit he is primed to post huge numbers in Chicago.
Malcolm Townsel (Evanston – 2017)
Change of scenery should be a nice change for Townsel. He is a smooth off guard that will play well off the playmaking ability of Nojel Eastern.
Cardell McGee (Springfield Lanphier – 2018)
McGee has a chance to be the next big time recruit out of Lanphier. Size, athleticism, and emerging skill. Look for him to have a big season.
Lacey Watson (Rock Island – 2018)
Watson has been a mainstay on the circuit with Quad City Elite for two summers. We think that will translate over to the high school scene this year as he will be a dominant scorer.
Quinlan Bennett (Proviso East – 2018)
Bennett will see a much bigger role with the graduation of Antonio Williams. The versatile guard is coming off a breakout summer.
Malachi Smith (Belleville East – 2018)
With Javon Pickett seeing the focus of most metro east defenses Smith will have the opportunity to get buckets.
Myles Baker (Whitney Young – 2019)
Baker impressed us when we saw him this summer. Could be a young star that emerges for Whitney Young.
Anthony Fairlee (Springfield Southeast – 2019)
Might be the best athlete in the state. If he can consistently put the skill together Fairlee is going to show out in central Illinois.
