This weekend Rezac will be at the NHR top 250 Expo and there will likely be several division three programs watching him compete. There are five programs following Logan the most.
“Right now the most interest has came from Northwestern (MN), Bethel, Gustavus, St. Johns, and Augsburg,” Logan said.
“I don’t have any dates set, but I plan to visit Gustavus, Augsburg, and Northwestern at some point, I’d also like to re-look at St. Johns and Bethel.
Logan was one of the top players for the Crossfire squad this spring and summer that won 31 games over the 17U season and it was a great experience for him.
“Some of my top experiences were playing against some of the best basketball players in Minnesota and competing with them at a high level, and creating strong friendships with many of my teammates,” Rezac said.
“AAU made me a better player because it taught me how to make the game slow down. AAU is played much faster than high school ball, and adjusting to that helped me to slow down and be in control of my game.
“It also helped me to learn how to get quick shots off as well as being able to adjust around the rim to finish over taller defenders.”
Andover went 10-18 last year but should improve with Rezac leading the way again.
“I have been training for basketball since AAU ended, and I will continue to train up until the season,” Rezac stated. “I have been focusing on ball handling, creating off the dribble, one on one moves, and working on my pull up jump shot. I’m also lifting regularly to get stronger for the season.
“Our team is playing in the Breakdown fall basketball league, we also came off of a summer tournament where we took second. I’m excited to get into the gym more with a great group of guys, I think we will surprise some people this year.”
