He is at his best as a stretch four or three man where he can shoot it from 15 feet out to three point range. Solid passer that has good strength. One of the more intriguing prospects in the class to track over the next year.
He ran with Jets/Ramey United 16U which was one of the best teams in the country.
“It went good. Traveling around and getting to play in front of all these coaches with these guys is a blast. Playing with these guys we have top 100 players and a lot of talent.”
Where has he been focusing on his game over the last six months?
“My ball handling has improved a lot. Physicality and rebounding. I have been in the weight room and trying to get a little bit bigger.”
Getting back together with his high school team in June was big as Edwardsville should be a state title contender this season.
“It was good. It was a little bit of a transition in roles. I am more of a scorer than I am on my travel team. Trying to get to the basket and create scoring opportunities. On the Jets my primary role is rebounding and playing defense.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I have been talking to SIUE a lot. I have been talking to Western Illinois a lot. I went to Murray State camp. I want to get out to Central Michigan soon.”
