He has a strong and compact body to go along with solid athleticism. Where the junior guard is at his best is shooting it from three. Deep range on his shot as he can hit both pulling up and off the catch. Love the way he competes and his motor. Powerful finisher around the hoop and gets on the glass using his strength. Needs to be on the D1 radar in 2018.
He ran with Team Manimal 16U in July.
“Our record was good. We got fourth place in two tournaments. We were losing before the championship game so we could do better. I think I am playing well. I can definitely do better. There is always room for improvement. My jump shot has gotten better and is falling a lot.”
Where is he trying to work on his game?
“I am trying to work on my penetration. My coach tells me to dunk everything.”
Despite him and his brother Amir being D1 talents they aren’t getting the attention on the recruiting trail.
“There aren’t many schools reaching out to us. We got offered by Indiana Wesleyan.”
