Cardell McGee (Springfield Lanphier)
McGee made a huge jump in the latest rankings after a monster July for Yanders Law. The Laphier guard went from #25 to #6. McGee showed off his immense versatility and most importantly was consistency on his previously streaky jump shot. Rangy athlete that can handle it and score.
Malachi Smith (Belleville East)
Smith made an incredible leap from #120 to #29. We liked Smith during the high school season and thought he was a name to look at down the line, but Smith blew us away with his play for the Southwest Jets 16U. He scored at all three levels throughout the month and looked under control in doing it. Going to be a dynamic threat next to Javon Pickett and Rico Sylvester this year.
Jake Wolfe (Aurora Christian)
Wolfe moved up the rankings again after being one of the more productive players for the Illinois Wolves. He went from #52 to #36 with his ability to score and strength. The Aurora Christian wing should put up monster numbers as a junior.
Ethan Schuemer (Willowbrook)
Welcome to the show Mr. Schuemer! He vaulted into the rankings with his debut at #47 after an outstanding July for Mercury Elite playing on both the 16U and 17U levels. Schuemer is a versatile forward that was extremely productive.
Robert Harvey (Hillcrest)
The athletic wing from Hillcrest makes his debut at #52 after a buzz worthy June playing with his high school team. He showed flashes of that ability in July with All-In/Young & Reckless 16U.
Ryan Martin (Fremd)
Silky smooth wing that plays with pace and can really score it. Always in control of the game Martin elevated his stock with his play for the Rebels 16U in July. He went from #103 to #53.
Eddie Creal (Joliet West)
The talent continues to come for Joliet West! Creal is an uber athletic shooting guard that emerged in July with his ability to attack the rim for Hoops4Health. Makes debut at #55.
Aaron Shoot (Quincy)
Shoot joined Quad City Elite where he not only played up on the 17U level, but was one of their better players with his ability to shoot it with range and play with flare. Debuts at #67.
