PF Tamell Pearson (Morgan Park)
Morgan Park continues to have new players emerge year after year. Pearson moved up from #30 to #19 after a strong showing in July for the Mac Irvin Fire. The 6’8” power forward has a nice combination of size, strength, and athleticism. Shoots a high percentage and protects the rim.
PF Jalen Shaw (Larkin)
Shaw continues to slowly move up the board. This time he jumped from #32 to #25 in the overall rankings. At 6’8” with very long arms Shaw is a shot blocking presence that is still refining his offensive game, but has one of the highest ceilings of any big in the class.
C Ben Wolf (Naperville Central)
Wolf is a big and physical 6’9” center with strength. Plays with his back to the basket, can rebound, and is a potential shot blocking presence. Debuts at #42 in new rankings.
PF Blake Weiss (Mascoutah)
Weiss is a sleeper big man from southern Illinois. The 6’5” post has the pick and pop ability along with mobility that are becoming very coveted commodities in the college game. He vaulted from #133 to #65.
