Boulder Creek–Comes into the season after the loss of Nick Johnson however look for the Jaguars to put out a very strong group of players who are going to fight hard for Coach Holdstrom and make it very competitive for the entire region.
Desert Mountain–Look for the Wolves to fight hard under Coach Satterlie. Look for Dylan Shamy & Brady Giordano, as well as Parker Fraley to push the Wolves toward a fight all season long, competing hard.
Horizon–Coach Conner’s 3rd season looks to be his most successful at Horizon; he is going to have his run-n-gun squad led by Jake Hess, and sharpshooting guards Aidyn Albright & Logan McCullough. Look for the Huskies to make a playoff run for the 3rd year in a row!
Mountain Ridge–Ridge have lost both Green brothers however this will open the door for Jared Rodriguez to be a key leader for his squad and Coach Lopez.
Pinnacle–I have gone on record before & will say it again, never count out a Coach Wilde team in the postseason. The winning culture he has created is one of the best in the state, from the beginning of the school to present day, coach does a great job leading young men. The Pioneers will be led by a youth movement of freshman Nicco Mannion, & sophs Trent Brown, Jordan Mains & Spencer Rattler. This group will be one to watch for the next 3-4 years & could find themselves winning multiple region & state titles!
Sandra Day O’Connor–Coach King does a tremendous job with his boys. Look out for Joe Sajkowski who is a prospect to look for. They have young guards that are going to be good as well. Chase Morley and Keaton Rodgers. Their top player is a junior named TJ Connaker. Great kid who can play with any guard in the valley.
