R.J. Lawrence 5’11” KC Pacers Blue 16U (Blue Springs, 2018): Once again, Lawrence has shown himself to be a multi-faceted scoring threat who can get buckets at all three levels. In one game, he erupted for 33 points to lead the Pacers back from a double digit deficit for a victory. He has excellent 3-point range, whether it’s off the catch or off the dribble. He displayed his stop and pop game from the middle area as well as his ability to get to the basket.
Cameron Williams 6’3″ SW ILL Jets 16U (Hazelwood Central, 2018): An athletic wing forward whose motor never stopped throughout the tournament, Williams just makes plays on both ends of the court. He is an excellent ball handler who is strong physically and tough off the dribble when getting to the basket. He moves well without the ball to get buckets and he will also crash the offensive boards. Enjoy watching him play because of his max effort.
Roman Wilson 6’9″ KC Pacers Blue 16U (Park Hill, 2019): He began the summer as a future prospect with a lot of promise, but ended it as a high major prospect just waiting to happen. He scored around the basket easily, but continued to develop his ball handling and perimeter skills throughout the course of the summer. He became a very good 3-point shooter. Looking forward to seeing what he will look like in another year, when he will be just a sophomore.
Kobe Smith 6’4″ St. Louis Majestics 16U (Ritenour, 2018): The athletic swingman wrapped up a good summer with another productive weekend in Kansas. Smith is a very engaging offensive player who will attack the basket with his size and strength, yet work his way around the perimeter with a lot of confidence. Smith is also an excellent passer who makes teammates better.
Ethan Kilgore 6’6″ KC Pacers Blue 15U (East Buchanan, 2020): It was a very good summer for this long and versatile forward who is just entering high school this year. Kilgore played 15U all season and held up well as he played all over the court. He did a fine job inside, but he also continued his play as a playmaking forward, where he did a large share of his team’s ball handling and passing.
