Those schools? Pepperdine, Drake, Pacific, Boston U, Northern Illinois, and St. Joseph’s.
“I love everything about those schools,” said Berhow. “They all fit my playing type. Love the facilities of all of them. All great locations. All of the schools are in conferences I like. And I have great relationships will all the coaches. And having the relationships with the head coaches was big for me.”
Next up is setting official visits and Tre has four of them set at the moment.
“We have planned an official visit to Pepperdine the weekend of September 2-4, Boston U the weekend of Sept 9-11, Northern Illinois on the weekend of September 16-18, and Pacific on September 23-25,” Trae told Northstar Hoops Report.
Berhow played with Minnesota Lockdown which became Powerhouse Minnesota this year and he was with them throughout his Grassroots/AAU basketball career.
“Some of my top experiences playing AAU is meeting my second family in my teammates and my Coaches,” said Berhow. “Without AAU I would have never met them and I wouldn’t be near as good as a player I am today.
“Also playing in all the different settings and states playing against the best players in the nation, in front of some of the best college coaches to coach the game was a great experience.”
Berhow is about to set out on a month long travel of visits but he is also preparing for his senior year of high school basketball.
“Over the next few months we will be having captain’s practices and workouts to prepare us for the season. It’s also nice that only two of our players are playing football so we will have most of our players in the gym.”
