The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is still offer-less, but after a big July has seen his interest spike.
“I picked up a few more schools that have shown interest. All the schools have called me at least, and I’ve made visits to a few; Youngstown State, Air Force Academy, Samford, Southern Miss, South Alabama, Marist, Stetson, UC Irvine, and I think that’s about it,” said McCullough, who is enjoying the process as he waits for that first offer.
“I like looking at all the schools and talking to the different coaches. And seeing all their different styles and how they do things.”
The Portage Central product is a sharpshooter who can hit from all three levels, and says his toughness is another strong suit.
“I’m a really good shooter, my pullup and my midrange is really good and it compliments my 3-point shooting. And I’m a really tough player, I like to get a lot of rebounds and play some really tough defense,” said McCullough.
All that helped him have a month of July with Greenwood Elite that he can hang his hat on.
“I had a great July,” he said. “I played really well in all three events and I was scouring 17 or 18 points a game and about seven rebounds, and with a handful of assists per game.”
