Top 40: 40-36
40. Cameron Miller PG 5’11 2017 Salpointe Catholic – Miller is a quality guard who can shoot the basketball. He can shoot the basketball at a high rate whether it is a catch and shoot or off the dribble. In addition, he is a solid on the ball defender who does deters drives well. He is also a smart player who manages the tempo well. Miller and the talented roster of Salpointe should be ready to make some noise this year in 4A.
39. Elijah Mead PG 6’1 2017 Camelback – His ability to pull off the dribble is at an elite level. He is a hard nosed on ball defender who keeps his man out of the paint and rarely needs help side. In addition, he has a solid handle and good length which enables him to put himself in productive situations for himself and his teammates. Mead is a low NCAA Division-I caliber talent who is a huge acquisition for Camelback, and he should play a huge role for this group this year.
38. Nate Graville 6’7 PF 2017 Gilbert Christian – Graville is a low NCAA Division-I caliber talent with a lot of potential for IVY league schools due to the fact that he has taken care of business in the classroom. His biggest asset is his versatility. He can shoot the basketball off of the catch and shoot, has length to impact the game offensively and defensively, has a solid handle that enables him to attack off of the dribble, and has a couple of strong post moves.
37. Andre Harris Andre Harris 6'7" | PF Hillcrest Prep | 2020 State #269 Nation AZ PF/C 6’6 2019 Red Mountain – Harris is one of the top post passers in the state. Over the summer, he was used a lot in high-low situations due to this skill. His mid-range jumper has improved greatly. Moreover, he has soft hands, a good touch around the rim, and he is continuing to add moves to his game while on the block. Harris has shed significant weight and looking more and more fluid as well. He looks poised for a huge season for Red Mountain.
36. Jovan Blacksher PG 5’11 2019 Shadow Mountain – Blacksher has a strong handle and great quickness out of the point guard slot. In addition, he has a strong frame which enables him the opportunity to create favorable angles on drives. His shot is smooth, and he has worked hard at developing a more consistent ability to shoot off of the dribble. When he gets into the paint, he has a good feel for the help side defense and finds the open man as well as creates shots for himself. Blacksher has a very high ceiling and is well deserving of being on the top 40 list.
