Dajuan Harris 6’2″ MoKan Elite (Rock Bridge): A very talented and smooth wing player who makes scoring look easy at times. Harris is very good off the dribble where he can slice and dice his way to the basket. He is also a very good jump shooter and a dynamic athlete who can rise up and dunk on a defender if he isn’t paying attention.
Keyshawn Jackson 6’2″ MBA Flight (Kickapoo): It was my first time seeing Jackson in action and I was very impressed with his ability to score in many ways. He has a very high-arching jumper where he releases from behind right ear. It goes in quite a bit. In one game I watched, he scored 12 points in a row on 3-pointers, drives to the basket and floaters in the lane. He really knows how to score.
Ben Cooper 6’0″ MoKan Elite (Rock Bridge): He was one of the most impressive shooters that I watched in the 15U tournament. He is an excellent shooter off the catch, plus he moves well without the ball to get himself open. If a defender closes out on him, he showed the ability to dribble drive by him and pull up for the jumper or get all the way to the basket.
Jamonta Black 6’2″ Missouri Hustle 16U (Rock Bridge): Black played 16U ball all season and proved to be a nice offensive threat. He is an excellent 3-point shooter off the catch when he has his feet set. He is also very good off the dribble with a variety of moves to the basket. As he gets stronger, he will become a more potent offensive player in the lane.
Broc Smith 6’3″ Springfield Hawks (Republic): I was very impressed with this young man’s size on the wing and his ability to shoot the deep ball with consistency. He wears out zone defenses with his 3-point shooting ability. He also showed the ability to get to the basket and knock down a mid-range jumper. I think he has a pretty big upside.
