It might not necessarily always be the highest rated prospect in the program either although it very well could be.
Our Quad City Elite program MVP for this season is Rock Island 2018 shooting guard Lacey Watson.
Watson is a scoring two guard from Rock Island that can really put the ball in the basket. The rising junior had some epic scoring outputs throughout the course of the spring and summer on the 16U level for Quad City Elite. He is a strong guard that can score in the lane, but also has range on his three point shot. Shot selection needs some work, but there is no denying he can put it in the hoop. We saw him in several games carry his team with bucket after bucket down the stretch. Also his passing showed some development as July went along.
Congrats to Lacey on winning the Quad City Elite program MVP award!
