After finishing with a 13-3 record during the Nike EYBL season, they were even more dominant in winning the championship of the EYBL Peach Jam with an 8-0 record. MoKan Elite won the Peach Jam with a series of blowouts, including a 30-point victory over the PSA Cardinals in the championship game.
How good was MoKan Elite? The following week, they advanced to the championship game of “The 8” at the Las Vegas Bigfoot Classic without the services of top players Michael Porter, Jr. and Trae Young, who were with Team USA winning a gold medal at the U18 World Championships in Chile.
Michael Porter, Jr. – The 6’9″ forward was the Co-MVP of the Peach Jam and a gold medalist at the U18 World Championships. He has committed to the University of Washington.
Trae Young: The 6’1″ Young was the Co-MVP of the Peach Jam along with teammate Michael Porter. The Oklahoma native was the most dominant guard in the Nike EYBL. He has narrowed his list of college choices down to Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington, Oklahoma State, Kentucky and Texas Tech.
Carte’are Gordon: The 6’8″ 2018 forward was a key player for MoKan and also a gold medalist on the USA U17 team. Has has a number of Division I major offers, including Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma State, UNLV and many others.
Jared Ridder: The 6’7″ wing player provided excellent 3-point shooting all summer. Ridder has committed to Xavier.
Jontay Porter: The 6’10” 2018 forward has already committed to the University of Washington.
Bryan Trimble: The athletic 6’3″ guard has committed to Florida State.
Derrick Walker: The 6’8″ power forward has a final list of Wichita State, SMU, Oral Roberts, UIC, Ball State and Akron.
Elijah Landrum: After a strong summer, the 6’1″ guard from Oklahoma has received offers from VCU and UC Santa Barbara
Cameron Davis: The 6’1″ combo guard has received offers from Drury, Pittsburg State and West Point.
