They play aggressive and hard and will out work most teams which can cause quite a few upsets. They usually never go deep with their roster but they don’t need to with the energy they have in the guys they have. It is a well balanced group with some size but depth at the guard spots. Landon Hall had a big year but maybe not bigger than Christian Stewart who solidified his talent level. Good year for everyone on this roster.
Best Player: Brownsburg’s Landon Hall is they kind of player you want to build from scratch. He’s 6’4, tough, smart, and deceptively athletic. Hall doesn’t blow you away with the skill he has, although, it is still better than most, but he catches your attention because of how hard he plays and the motor that comes with the skill. He’s what proves that their should be more value attached to your effort level than your ability to shoot from the volleyball line.
Players To Watch: Like I said earlier, Indianapolis Roncalli’s Christian Stewart had the biggest year on this team. He had a pretty solid year for Roncalli but I don’t think many noticed it. This summer, college coaches sure did when he was hitting nearly every shot he took and didn’t slow down for you to stop paying attention. He’s a pretty common body with a better work ethic than most which is why he should be on your list of players to watch this fall and winter.
