Indiana Elite Green doesn’t have a roster full of high-end players, but it does have guys that can play. The rise of play from two, Conner Rotterman and Matthew Godfrey, really made things fun to watch this summer. But they weren’t the only ones that saw improvement. Basically the entire roster took steps forward. Maurice Knight looked more aggressive, Aaron Shank threw his body around a little more in the post, and McGwire Plumer looked more confident with the ball in his hands. This group provided some of the most entertaining games of the summer.
Best Player: Conner Rotterman gets the nod here with how he played from start to finish this spring and summer. At times, others were able to play at a high, high level but the consistency is what really made Rotterman the standout. He took his shooting to a new level along with his newfound aggressiveness. He didn’t hold anything back and it allowed him to put up some big time numbers every game. He had a lot of things going for him heading into the summer but this is what it should look like when a player puts it all together.
Players To Watch: The guy people should be tracking this winter is Maurice Knight. The Frankton wing showed what he is capable of being early in the spring. He was uber aggressive attacking the rim and it was a sight to see. However, he had a few lulls later in the year so getting some consistency this fall and winter will be key. He will be the guy for Frankton and will be given every opportunity to produce so expect big numbers, just want to see him do it every game.
