TJ Clifford Commits to Western Michigan
Downers Grove South 2017 power forward TJ Clifford was the first prospect of July to make his college decision. On Sunday the power forward committed to Western Michigan. He told us why.
“I just really liked the coaching staff and how much they were excited to have me. I loved the campus on my visit. I think it was the best decision for myself and my family to go to Western and be a Bronco!”
Clifford is a mobile 6’6” four man with solid upper body strength. Likes to face up and can take his man out on the perimeter where he can hit a mid-range jumper or put it on the deck a couple times. Effective in the pick and pop game flaring out to the three point line to hit them on occasion. Quick around the hoop and toughness to compete on boards against bigger guys.
The rising senior plays with the Illinois Wolves on the travel team circuit and is considered the #7 power forward in the class of 2017.
