This event is typically a great tune up event in July right before the viewing periods for the very important month of July. Below are some of the top performers from the weekend:
Jovan Blacksher–Shadow Mountain-2019
Was top player over the weekend, made plays on both ends of the floor. Elite PG for his class, great vision and feel for the game.
Billy Jordan-Desert Ridge-2017
Tremendous athlete, runs the floor well, can finish strong at the rim, & use his length on the glass.
Tyson Brown-Hamilton-2018
Crafty guard who can make plays, will be a leader for the Hamilton Huskies this season. Great command of the offense.
JJ Rhymes-Shadow Mountain-2016
Rhymes showed why he will be playing for one of the best national junior college program in the country, spent time showing off his scoring ability, still needs to show off his ability to shoot consistently.
Reed Myers-Scottsdale Christian-2019
Myers led AGE all weekend long as the floor general, he is very calm cool and collected on the floor. Can shoot from outside & has good vision on the floor.
Jared Martin-Saguaro-2019
Martin showed on Friday & Saturday why he is one of the hottest rising wings on the west coast. He has a great basketball body, he looks the part & is getting longer & stronger. Demonstrated his shooting ability both days, did not play Sunday due to the flu.
Mason Johnson-Pinnacle-2019
Johnson just joined AGE however fit in well, stretching the floor out with his size & length with his ability to shoot the basketball.
Trent Brown-Pinnacle-2018
Great feel for the game, can shoot the ball well as well as distribute, is a floor general & has great command of the game & his teams system. Very confident player who is a true competitor.
Brennen Davis-Basha-2018
Davis did a great job crashing the glass this weekend and used his athleticism & length to do great things on the floor.
Grant Greabell-Estrella Foothills-2019
Big time shooter in the 2019 class, is one of the best shooters in the state, this weekend he may of been the best shooter on the floor. He doesn’t hesitate and has supreme confidence on the floor as a shooter.
D’Maurian Williams-Westview-2019
Williams did a great job for the Factory over the weekend and helped them find success on both ends of the floor. He continues to become a better leader as well as improved his skills on both ends of the floor.
Andre Harris-Red Mountain-2019
Harris is going to do wonders at Red Mountain, this past weekend he scored with ease as well as dominated the glass.
Jason Harris-Desert Ridge-2020
Harris might be one of the best athletes in the entire state of Arizona and he has yet to attend one day of high school. The two sport athlete is a beast on the court. Tremendous scorer and defender.
