Initiates the offense and is a solid passer especially in the drive and kick game. Active hands on the defensive end.
Commander spoke about his breakout sophomore campaign at Marist.
“For Marist coach really put a big chip on me. We lost our senior guard Jeremiah Ferguson so I had to step in for him. He taught me some things before I had to get into the starting role. It helped me really produce as a sophomore and I am looking forward to next year and try to take us far in the playoffs.”
How would he describe his game?
“I can get people the ball where they need it to be. Get it to shooters. Be able to facilitate for my team. I know at Marist I have a bigger role to score than I do with the Wolves. Penetrate and kick. Making the right pass at the right time. I need to work on the long distance shot.”
