MN Comets
Kyler Kluge. Was on fire all tournament long including 17 in the semi-final, has made a nice name for himself.
James Kaczor. One of the best guard defenders in the class, some of his loose ball efforts were incredible
Brevyn Spann-Ford. Was hurt and without him the Comets miss their main weapon.
Nathan Rund. After a tough start Rund created four scores late in the game that almost brought his team back.
Camden Jackson. Very impressed with his effort in the second half, coaches couldn’t take him off the floor as his effort was high level.
Harrison Christensen. Dealt with foul trouble in the final game but is a trusted player on the floor late.
Ethan Youso. Scored a team high 13 missing just one shot Ethan had a great face-up attack move finishing with a reverse and he was very active off the ball.
Justin Balcome. The want is there to be a high level player and you can see it in his face, just needs experience.
Trevor Kaiser. Knocked out two late treys to get him to double figures and this is a guy that plays with the attitude of running you over to get what he wants and that is what matters to him.
Bryce Kennedy. I feel liked Bryce gets better every game, he rebounded very well in the championship.
MN Select
Charlie Gove. Quietly ran the team during the huge 16-0 run moving the ball to all destinations plus he made a big three late.
Jack Moe. Showed a lot more ability handling the ball as well as more vision running his team’s offense than we knew.
Mike Coble. When his ball handling skills catch up with his natural explosive ability going at the rim he will be very tough to defend every possession.
CJ Dickson. He was hurt and winning without him is impressive.
Beijan Newbern. Did a nice job defensively limiting a few Comet guards, he moved the ball for four assists, scored three late field goals for a team high 11 points, and as good as he was at times he’s still coming off three months of being out.
Alex Rasmussen. Plays with a toughness that few do, rivaled what Kaiser did for Select by hitting a couple jumpers and being a team tough guy.
Jon Martens. Opened up with three early game scores and spent the rest of the game as a pesky defender.
Nick Fulford. The new name of the game, the Waconia talent scored five times and did it with backside work that rotating guys couldn’t deal with plus made a trey scoring ten points.
Mitch Weber. Had a tough time making shots but still battled to a game high eight boards and he scored a late field goal and free throws that helped put the game away.
Mason Otterdahl. Was quiet until he had a momentum building second half block and then a front of the rim score.
