Wyatt Yess 6’8″ Parkway West: There is virtually a new team around him, but Yess has a chance to make it work because of his all around skills and ability to make his teammates better. He is such a good passer, that you can run your offense through him. He even brought the ball up court on several occasions. He still scores inside and has that nice perimeter shooting touch all the way out to the 3-point line. He is never rushed. Plays a terrific team game.
Devonte Beard 6’5″ Ruskin: He was the best all-around defender in the team camp. With his size and athletic ability, he was able to guard every position on the floor. In one game, he guarded the team’s opposing point guard and did quite well. An ideal high school forward to guard the pick and roll. He gets in a stance and puts in a lot of effort on the defensive end. On offense, he is very good when able to get to the basket off the drive. Just like his all-around motor and energy that he brought to the table.
Ebubechi Idika 6’3″ Ruskin: A very impressive combo forward who plays with a lot of activity and energy. He posted up strong in the lane and finished around the basket with some nice big boy moves. He could also catch it from the wing and drive it strong to the basket and finish. Also had some impressive dunks during the day. Plays much bigger than his size.
Alex Diszana 6’5″ Marquette: A still-developing post player who has good length and jumping ability. He did a nice job being disruptive on defense around the basket with his length and shot blocking. He runs the court well and could finish when able to catch the ball off dribble penetration. His offensive game is still coming along and has a chance to develop.
