Defensively he has active hands and moves his feet. Needs to add strength going forward, but already shows great toughness. Niego spoke about his season at Brother Rice.
“It was really good. We turned around the program. Really successful year. I made all-conference and made strides from my sophomore year. Hopefully I can keep that momentum into the summer and next season.”
What does he see as the best parts of his game as a prospect projecting toward college?
“Defensively that really gets me going. I feel that is my biggest strength. After that shooting it and pulling up. Passing and making the smart plays.”
He updates us on his recruitment.
“I got a letter from University of Chicago, Illinois Wesleyan, and Holy Cross.”
Niego runs with Chicago Lockdown 17U.
