“This AAU season has been good, and the travelling and playing at the different competition levels in the different states has been a great experience,” Joshua stated of playing with North Dakota Phenom.
“My main focus this summer is to keep improving on my game as a whole, it’s all one part to me, so there for I work on all aspects.”
Burke County won eight games last year but they got better as the year went on building strong footing for the future.
“The best part of the winter was going into districts with a low seed and competing with the best, playing the hardest and winning,” said Josh. “Individually in districts was another good moment for me as I led multiple categories and led my team through hard fought games.”
Kihle is excited about where things are headed.
“Things are looking good for next year,” Josh told PHD. “And I think we just need to come with a better strategy and be a team. But we need every player to want to improve themselves and the team as one.”
Josh could play college football or college basketball based on the pace he is currently on but for now he’s just living the life of a 16 year old kid relaxed from day to day. Several programs are in connection with Josh in introductory ways.
“I haven’t thought a lot, I’m not totally sure at this point, but it’s definitely in mind,” said Josh about a college future.
