SF Jared White | Team Durant
A big, strong productive wing, Jared White has demonstrated solid two-way potential. He’s grown almost two inches since the start of his freshman year. Now at about 6-foot-6, White is an active rebounder who boxes out and uses his strong hands to tightly secure the ball in traffic. Offensively, White has the ability to consistently score in the post or face up and attack off the bounce. He has a soft touch from mid range, and is a capable 3 point threat from the catch.
SF Gibson Jimerson | DC Blue Devils
Gibson Jimerson, who recently reclassified into 2019, should be regarded among the top long range shooters in the class. Jimerson is a skilled wing who does his due diligence defensively. He boxes out and contests shots. Jimerson has good hands and decent vision. He’s a good outlet passer and knows how to space the floor off the ball. Jimerson is versatile enough to play in the paint where he can score with his back to the basket, and also play on the perimeter where he can consistently hit three pointers with in the gym range.
PF Josh Oduro | VA Elite 16U
Josh Oduro caught our eye this spring while playing up with Virginia Elite 16U. At about 6-foot-6, Oduro is long and very active on both ends of the floor. He has strong hands, and attacks the glass on the offensive and defensive end. Oduro runs the floor, seeks contact, and finishes consistently in traffic. He has a soft touch from mid range. Oduro has a great work rate, and should only get better as he continues to grow into his body and develop his skill set.
C Jonas Munson | BWSL Graves
At 6-foot-11, Jonas Munson is one of the tallest prospects in Virginia regardless of class. Munson is still very raw, but is steadily improving this spring and summer during the grassroots campaign. He has great length, and a frame which should fill out in time. Look for him to gain valuable varsity experience with West Potomac next season.
SF Delonta Cooper | BWSL Berry
An underrated gem in the 2019 class, Delonta Cooper shouldn’t fly under the radar for too much longer. The long-limbed, athletic 6-foot-5 wing has a super high motor. He is versatile on defense, where he can effectively defend on the perimeter or in the paint. Cooper is a good rebounder for his position, and does a good job pushing the ball in transition. He thrives in the open court, where he can consistently finish above the rim.
