We will first be looking at a club’s top teams in those given age groups and will then circle back to their other teams. Today: DC Blue Devils 17U
Organized by program director Keith Williams, The DC Blue Devils AAU program has shown the ability to compete among the top teams in the country in recent years. A handful of alumni from last year’s squad, including McDonald’s All-American Markelle Fultz and Rhode Island bound Jeff Dowtin Jr., will make the jump to the collegiate ranks at the division 1 level. This year’s 17U UAA squad features a talented pool of players which have shown good potential in their own right. Below is a preview of the group, which is coached by Brian Inge.
Record This Summer: 8-11
Tournaments Won/Best Finishes: UA Association 2-2
Key Wins: Over New Heights 75 64, Baltimore United 81-62
Losses (for the record): We R 1 59-55

Kabir Mohammed
Kabir, a class of 2016 small forward from Nigeria, is a former Citadel commit. In his first four games with DC Blue Devils on the UAA circuit, the 6-foot-5 unsigned senior is averaging a team-high 16 points and 8 rebounds per game while shooting nearly 57% from the field. New Hampshire, Saint Peter’s, Quinnipiac, Hofstra, and Illinios State are each recruiting the versatile wing.
Stefon Fisher
2017 power forward Stefon Fisher has been a solid paint presence on both ends of the court for the Blue Devils. The productive 6-foot-9 big man from IDEA Public Charter has received recent offers from Wofford, Rider, and Winthrop.

Goals for July:
Improve off of the momentum we found in UA Session 3.
Additional Thoughts/Notes:
I thought, as a team, we finally found some cohesion and familiarity with one another which allowed us to win some games we had been losing earlier in the summer. This team has the chance to go on a run in July with a lot of guys starting to feel comfortable with their role.
