The power forward spot has several different types of prospects toward the top. EJ Liddell (Belleville West) is a powerful 6’7” power forward with broad shoulders who is a beast dominating on the glass. Karl Wright (Springfield Lanphier) is the uber athletic four man that runs the floor, blocks shots, and finishes around the hoop. Spencer Boehm (New Trier) is a tough back to the basket player with a quality skill level.
Francis Okoro (Normal West) leads the way at the center position. The 6’10” post has a physical body with tremendous strength. He is a force blocking shots and rebounding. Solid skill with the ability to score down low. Potentially the top prospect in the class. Taeyon Neal (Providence St. Mel) didn’t score a ton when we saw him during the high school season, but he has a lot of physical tools at 6’8” that are intriguing. Ciaran Brayboy (New Trier) has had a strong spring with the Mac Irvin Fire with his ability to score, rebound, and block shots at 6’8”. Pavle Pantovic (DePaul Prep) is an undersized five the fights on the interior.
