When looking at the point guard spot it has a nice group of depth early in the process. Some names to monitor include Markese Jacobs (Uplift), Joseph Yesufu (Bolingbrook), Kejuan Clements (Simeon), Dashon Enoch (OPRF), Marquise Walker (St. Joseph’s), and Jordan Myrick (Simeon). Quality prospects behind them as well.
Lots of long and rangy wing prospects with potential. That list is led by shooting guard Perry Cowan (DePaul Prep) who is the top prospect at the wing position in the class. Other top wings to track include Malik Hall (Metea Valley), Bryant Brown (Waukegan), Johnny Roeser (Carmel), Myles Baker (Whitney Young), LJ Johnson (Morgan Park), Anthony Fairless (Springfield Southeast), Chris Payton (Bloomington), Kai Bates-Diop (Normal U-High), Isaac Stanback (Hillcrest), Lance Jones (Evanston), and Erik Cohn (York). All these guys have produced and still have upside long term.
The post group might be the most intriguing position. Not a ton of depth, but it is led by potential #1 prospect Francis Okoro (Normal West). After him Eric Liddell (Belleville West), Taeyon Neal (Providence St. Mel), Karl Wright (Springfield Lanphier), Spencer Boehm (New Trier), Ciaran Brayboy (New Trier), and Pavle Pantovic (DePaul Prep) are all potential D1 prospects.
