Tyree Martin (Curie)
Martin opened eyes this spring with his play for Team Rose on the circuit. The long and angular 6’8” power forward is a beast on the offensive glass with his quickness and never ending motor. Gets a lot of second chance points. Defensively he is a shot blocking machine! Upside as he is young for his grade.
Treavon Martin (Curie)
This Martin brother broke out in the state tournament playing for Curie and helping them capture a 4A state crown. He gets scores on slams inside off quick passes and can step out to hit an occasional mid-range jumper. Potential to be a dominant rebounder as well.
Isa Maguire (Lindbloom)
Maguire almost decided not to play grassroots ball in the spring. Good decision to play with All-In/Young & Reckless as the 6’9” post has continued to improve his game. He is starting to grow into his frame and coordination around the rim is getting better. Shot blocking presence on defense.
Tamell Pearson (Morgan Park)
Pearson saw no tick on a loaded Morgan Park squad last year, but expect him to become a well-known name next season. The 6’8” post has a great frame and rebounds well. Presence in the paint defensively and flashes offensive potential. Combination of size and athleticism make him intriguing long term.
Orlando Allen (Thronton)
Allen peaked our interest during the high season and he showed flashes again this spring. He is uber bouncy and quick off the floor when blocking shots. Offensively he is a bit raw, but relies on his athleticism and quickness around the hoop to finish. Potential D1 prospect especially if he grows more.
