Justin Smith (Stevenson)
Smith has great size and athleticism at the wing position. In the second half of the high school season and early spring he put it all together posting consistent numbers scoring at all three levels as well as in the open floor above the rim.
Nana Akenten (Bolingbrook)
Akenten has been dominant for Celtics/Hoopers on the grassroots circuit. The 6’6” small forward is an elite level athlete that is just a flat out bucket getter. We saw him go for multiple dominant scoring performances over the last two months.
Zach Couper (Rockford Boylan)
Couper had a strong junior year and continued it with Team RWA this spring. The shot maker drills perimeter jumpers with ease from all over the floor. Sticks his nose into rebound and is a solid athlete.
Brandon Trimble (St. Joseph’s Ogden)
Trimble lit up the small school state tournament with a huge performance leading his team to the state title. We saw him do it in the regular season as well. One to track for low-major programs and D2’s.
Doug Wallen (St. Thomas Moore)
Wallen is a versatile prospect that does everything well. He knows how to dish the rock, shoots it from mid-range out to three, and is a fierce rebounder.
Carlos Hines (North Lawndale)
Hines is a bucket getter from Chicago that had a strong spring with the Illinois Icemen. The athletic wing has range on his shot and is good in transition. Tough on ball defender that competes on that end.
