Jacob Keller (Fenwick)
Keller proved this spring on the circuit with Young Legends his immense ability as a two way player. With Mike Smith playing the lead guard for Fenwick the past three years he was held back from showing his ability to run a team. There is no questioning that after the last two months. Keller understands how to get others involved while making sound decisions with the ball. Plus perimeter defender.
Teyvion Kirk (Joliet West)
Kirk lit up the NY2LA Association with his play for All-In/Young & Reckless. The rangy point guard proved he could run a team while still being able to score. Kirk gets dribble penetration with relative ease setting up his pull-up jumper from mid-range. Defensively he gets after it getting several steals a game. Opened up a lot of eyes of college coaches during the live periods.
PJ Pipes (Lemont)
The Lemont power point guard is one of my personal favorites in this class. He has steadily improved his ability to run a team over the last two years. That combined with his knack to score at all three levels make him a lethal combination at the mid-major or low-major level. Performed very well hitting big shots for the Illinois Stars on the NY2LA circuit.
Jimmy Sotos (Conant)
Sotos had a great close to his junior season and that has continued over this spring with Young Legends. The rising senior is such a smart player. He is a true leader on the floor and that translates confidence over to his teammates. Sound passer that makes crisp dishes. Plus perimeter shooter especially off the catch from three.
Bryson Langdon (Kenwood)
Langdon moved to Kenwood from Utah setting out last high school season. Expect the speedster to make a name for himself in Chicago this year with his ability to push the pace in transition and find teammates in the open court. Strong spring with TAW.
