0 Matthew Kempton, SR, G/F
- Matthew led the 2015-2016 team in points, rebounds, and assists, and has been working all spring on strength and skill development. He improved in almost every single statistical category last year, and we are eager to see what he is able to accomplish during his senior year. He is also a fantastic leader.
o Ian Burke, JR, G
- Ian took over as a full-time starter over Christmas break and never looked back. He is a versatile player and a great decision-maker. He’s worked INCREDIBLY hard this spring, and looks to build on a great sophomore season.
o Sean Dunn, SR, C
- Showed some real flashes of his potential last year. Back-to-back games toward the end of the year of 17 pts. and 15 rebounds against Liberty and 16 and 14 against Mr. Ridge. Will be counted on to anchor the post.
Players who are poised for a breakout summer or sleepers.
o Jaxson Baker, JR, G/F
- Has a fantastic outside shot and great length. He is looking to build on his first varsity season (last year as a sophomore).
o Conor Dunn, JR, G/F
- Played wing through most of middle school, but grew to 6’7” in the last year. Has a tremendous feel for the game, a great outside touch, and an understanding of how to make those around him better. He’s definitely a player to keep an eye on going forward.
The summer they will be participating in the Paradise Valley summer league and then playing in:
- June 3rd-4th – Central Jamboree
- June 10th-11th – Central Jamboree
- June 9th-11th – ACU Team Camp
- June 16th-18th – Summer 64
- June 24th-26th – Palm Springs High School Tournament (CA)
Coach Hooten made it clear they will be spending the majority of our time working on strength and conditioning and skill work when not playing games.
