“I just like got to go get it and if I want to have it, I’m going to go get it,” Dillard said about his athleticism.
His body and build has already garnered him interest from college programs. He took an unofficial visit to Michigan State this past high school season and has heard from Indiana and Purdue. He is also hoping to take unofficial visits to Indiana and Kansas in the future.
His ability to rebound and provide highlight reel plays are just a few reasons he is ranked the No. 23 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 60. To keep the interest growing and gain some offers, Dillard also knows he has to continue rounding out his game and adding to his athleticism.
“Coaches say I bring a lot of energy and hustle and rebounds, and I need to work mostly on my defense, my footwork,” Dillard said. “My footwork is the big thing, my quickness mostly.”
While Dillard does not a timetable or favorites list for colleges and making a decision, he does know he wants one thing.
“A coach that’s going to push me for every play,” he said.
