Niego broke down his junior campaign at Brother Rice.
“It was really good. We are really turning around the program. It went good for me. I made all conference and made huge strides from my sophomore year. Keep using that momentum into the spring and summer.”
What areas does he excel on the court?
“Defensively that really gets me going. I feel that is my biggest strength. After that shooting it with pull ups. Passing and making the smart plays under control.”
He spoke with us about some of his early recruiting attention.
“A few NAIA and D2 schools. I got a letter from University of Chicago. Coach Frasor told me Illinois Wesleyan reached out. Holy Cross.”
Niego runs with Chicago Lockdown on the circuit.
