Grubbs is a tremendous glue guy for the Illinois Stars 17U. He does the little things. Dives after loose balls, gets offensive rebounds, plays tough defense. High activity level with a never ending motor. As a scorer is best in the transition game and getting buckets off put backs. Small college prospect that will be a player the coach he plays for loves having for four years.
Grubbs has been an important player for the Illinois Stars 17U.
“Spring is going very well. Happy with my team and how we are playing. This is all just preparing me for the school season my senior year.”
What does he bring to the table as a player?
“I never stop. I never give up on a possession. If we are down 20 I am the guy that is giving 110%. I am the first one in the gym and last one at night.”
Nothing really going on with recruiting at this point. D3/NAIA programs should really take a long look at Grubbs.
