“I’m a good on-ball defender,” the quick and athletic guard stated.
A long, broad athlete, Brown displays an exceptional feel for the game on both ends of the court. Having played the game since he was in second grade, he exhibits solid instincts and understands when to attack.
“I like going to the basket a lot,” Brown explained. “My mid-range game is underrated. If you want a bucket, I’m gonna get it.”
He’s a gym rat, who admitted he still needs to improve his 3-point shooting. He currently holds no scholarship offers, but is on the radar of a few division 1 programs such as Old Dominion. But given his ability to defend, facilitate, and play suffocating defense at a high level, it likely won’t be long before Jomaru Brown emerges as a household name in recruiting circles.
