Carson is also the first guy we noticed from the BBA Force team two Aprils back when they were making their push from another local Grassroots team to a team that wins games.
BBA Force is once again winning games as they have earned a 10-2 record thus far through three events.
“This spring season for AAU has been great so far and it’s making me really excited for the summer with this team,” Coulter told PHD about playing with BBA Force. “We all play really well together and know what everyone is capable of.”
BBA Force wants to prove to everyone that they are the best team in South Dakota. Carson also wants to help that team by working on the following things for the summer, and into his senior year with Lincoln.
“In the coming tournaments I’d like to see myself get better at finishing around the rim with contact and when there are big guys in the paint,” Carson explained.
“But through the winter season I would say I really improved on handling high pressure moments and hitting a clutch shot or making the right decision. Also my defense improved a lot throughout the winter season and this spring season so far.”
Carson is good enough to run point guard some team in college basketball. Is it in the NAIA locally? In the UMAC in Minnesota? Right now he doesn’t really know and hasn’t thought too much about it.
“I’ve gotten some camp invites from Concordia and some other D2 schools and Crown University (MN) texted me the other day,” said Carson. “I haven’t really put much thought into the place where I want go to school, but for a major I’m thinking either sports management or sports Psychology. Whatever I major in it will be something with sports.”
The focus is BBA and senior season.
“My main goal right now is to be in the weight room and get stronger for next season,” said Carson “But really all aspects of my game have room for improvement so I will be working on everything and try to become a better basketball player.”
