Qudus Abolaji | 2019 | Uncommon Bulls 16U
Qudus Abolaji continues tho show improvements across the board seemingly each time he hits the floor. The mobile, lanky 6-foot-11 freshman is becoming a stalwart defensively because can get off the floor, works hard, and has excellent timing. He recorded 14 rebounds and 6 blocks in a win vs. MD3D.
Myles Dread | 2018 | Team Takeover Black 16U
Myles Dread plays a strikingly efficient brand of basketball. The strong, well-built 6-foot-4 guard is an excellent passer who can also stretch the floor at a high clip. He shot 100% from the field, including 2/2 from downtown and swiped three steals in a win vs. Baltimore United Gold.
Darius Hines | 2018 | Team Takeover Orange 16U
Darius Hines used his speed and quickness along w/his crafty handle to get into the paint and create. He locked up on the perimeter, using quick feet and active hands to suffocate his opponent. He recorded 13 points (5/8 FG; 2/3 3pt; 1/2 FT) 6 assists and 2 steals without turning it over vs. Baltimore United Gold.
Myles Jones | 2018 | Uncommon Bulls 16U
Myles Jones was a two-way standout, but really showed that he can get hot from deep by hitting 4 of his 6 attempts in a win vs. MD3D. He mixed it up nicely and got to the basket, drawing contact and converting from the foul line. Defensively, he was very vocal, active, and displayed quick reactions.
Ayush Mayur | 2018 | The District 16U
Ayush Mayur can absolutely stretch the floor with the best of them. The sophomore wing showed off his versatility with some crafty finishes around the basket. He also worked hard on the defensive glass, finding his man and boxing out on each shot attempt.
Justin Moore | 2019 | Team Takeover Black 16U
Justin Moore is quickly building a reputation as a tough, hard nosed guard who can defend on the perimeter and finish strong around the basket. He’s also very unselfish and doesn’t mind setting up his teammates. In two games, he averaged 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals while shooting exactly 50%.
Nate Spurlock | 2018 | The District 16U
Nate Spurlock showed off good body control and athleticism when finishing around the basket. He also stepped out and displayed the ability to comfortably knock down the three. His motor was very high, and he worked hard on the glass.
D’Angelo Tull | 2018 | The District 16U
D’Angelo Tull owns an awesome blend of toughness, IQ and skill. The sophomore floor general is somewhat of a coach on the floor, and consistently communicates to make sure his team is on the same page. He got into the paint pretty easily and showed good strength when absorbing contact. He wasn’t afraid to take and make big time shots for his team.
